From Library Journal
Radha was born in Germany and eventually emigrated to Canada. After many years of training in India, she established her own ashrams, or centers for spiritual instruction. Thus, her title "Swami" is not to be taken lightly. Here, she provides an expanded, updated version of her previous book Gods Who Walk the Rainbow (Timeless Bks., 1981). The first section details personal encounters with 17 gurus in India, including a piece on her own guru, Sivananda. While some background in Indian religion is helpful, the text is easily comprehensible to the interested layperson. A brief second section gives tips for the spiritual aspirant. Recommended for collections in spiritual development.
