The computer I bought a few years ago came with these speakers. For computer speakers they have very good sound. After buying substandard speakers for an older laptop I have, I decided to look for another pair of these. I'm glad I did. I love listening to music on them or watching online episodes of tv shows. Highly recommended.

These speakers are so awesome. I don't think I've had this good sound out of computer speakers ever. I think I'll order another set for my other computer!

Got these a long time ago, free with an old computer. These are quality speakers, but for the price you can get a subwoofer. Overall though, if you had these speakers you wouldn't be sorry.

I have two sets of these speakers with the same model numbers, but different identifying labels . They are in identical enclosures except, one set has a silver JBL logo While the other is white. The Silver label set were made in China while the white label set were made in Mexico . They both say Compaq on the labels . The pair with the silver logos sound very good for a cheap set of speakers. They offer a rich sound with good bass extension for such a small speaker. While the other set with the white logos sound like trash. They are very thin sounding and not any better than any other cheap set of speakers. So if you're considering buying these check with the seller to make sure the plastic JBL logos are silver in color.

These speakers go well with my laptop.Sound is good but could use a little more bass to them.I would not recommend these for a Larger computer set-up unless you have a sub-woofer.

For what they are, these are a tremendous value. Although they do not have a subwoofer they still deliver a great sound for being an entry level set. I enjoy it when at the pc and have some tunes on or a movie even some gaming that does not require surround.

I purchased these speakers to support a portable DVD player after reading others reviews. I found them to be OK for my purpose but don't expect a rich full sound or extended bass. If a small subwoffer were added things would be a lot better. The cabinets are plastic of course and do not help to dampen the mid range frequencies such as around the 600 to 800 Hz range. Ok, bottom line, for my purpose they are fine and I consider them a good value. I do recomend them but you need to understand that these are small plastic cased speakers and for that they are still OK. OK?
