5.0 out of 5 stars refurbished computers, December 11, 2002

This review is from: Compaq DESKPRO EN (350-MHz Intel Pentium II, 192MB RAM, 4.3 GB hard drive) (Personal Computers)
I was so pleased to see a deal I could afford for my son for Christmas. I work and go to school full time so money is really tight right now. I was heartbroken to discover I was being teased by the availability and price of this computer. It is exactly what I can afford and what would suit my sons needs right now, but..not available and no clue of when it might be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compaq computers seem to be the best buy for your buck!, August 23, 2002

In my opinion and from what I've heard from customers Compaq seems to be more stable and has a good web site for supporting their customers and older computers (they have a huge web site).

From the DeskPro 4000 and later is the best buy for speed and hardware upgrades. I personally own a DP2000, a DP4000 and a few DP EN models and also an obsolete all-in-one Presario CDS 524. I've heard alot people who own Dell computers are mad because of the unstability and support.

I am an Apple fanatic you might say, the above is my partial opinion of PC's.
