Not a bad PC
I purchased this unit new (C700) around 4 years ago for about $350 on clearance. Still running fine. I do have to do normal "PC maintenance" on the laptop, but it's great for surfing the web, running office, email, pictures, etc. This is not a gaming PC by any means, but for typical use, it's just fine. Like any laptop, battery does not typically last too long...

what a clunker!!!!!!
i bought this laptop new a year ago....had to be serviced twice in the first 6 months....at least it had a 6 month warranty!!! yikes!!!vista locks up and restarts about once a week ... compaq customer service are real a- holes to work with!!! refused to ship me a new one or refurbed exchange....key board broke the first month ...three keys popped off....heats up like a...
