Awesome laptop - maddening support,

This laptop is nothing short of amazing. It does put off a little heat, however as a portable desktop replacement it is great.
That being said, support is horrible. Two weeks in, my power supply went dead. HP sent another, but no call tag to send the old PS back. Spent hours on the phone with HP/Compaq in India and California. Result: they have charged me $178. For a part that lasted TWO WEEKS. I have the 3 year extended warranty, but it's no help. So, if you do buy this incredible machine, hope that nothing goes wrong with it. |
