Extended Battery -- Extended Disappointment,

The first battery I ordered failed within 24 hours and took out the LCD screen with it. I was lucky and only had to replace the LCD inverter. I received a replacement quickly with no hassles. I seldom use the laptop on battery so it remains hooked up to AC power most of the time. About 2 to 3 months after I received the backup battery, I needed to use my laptop in the garage to set up a surveilance camera. The battery was fully charged and should have lasted a couple hours but within 15 minutes it shut down and I had to connect AC power to complete my job. I've not pursued a third replacement and don't plan to -- I don't see the point.
