I checked many reviews on this monitor; looked at it's quality and performance in local store and decided it met my needs for a replacement for my failing HP CRT 19" monitor! I couldn't be more satisfied with this monitor (no warm-up wait time on a LCD monitor :)and the shipping service from Amazon was fast (within 2 days! Thanks Amazon for everything!

Saw the monitor in a combo pack and liked the looks and color on it. I ordered it and was very impressed with the quality of it. The speakers do a good job, but if your looking for Hi Def like with any monitor speakers you had better buy some add ons. I would purchase again.

This is a nice introductory monitor for flat screen usage. The tilt seems limited and there is no height adjustment for the screen. As expected, the built in speakers (although a nice idea) are worthless for anything more than mid-level volume computer sounds. Anyone who listens to music, movies, or anything requiring quality sound will want to upgrade the speakers (which sadly leaves you with a larger monitor due only to speakers you do not use). The color, brightness, clarity, and sharpness are all good. Nothing spectacular, but all in all a very good monitor for the price.

This has been a good monitor for the price. The screen is clear and the picture is good. The speakers seem a little underpowered though.

I needed a 19 inch monitor for my new HP Vista computer and I preferred the Compaq over the HP monitor with the better design and the speaker layout. Overall, good quality and excellent color definition with the 1440 x 900 resolution. I use a Viewsonic 19 inch monitor as a second monitor and I can't tell any noticeable differences. The Viewsonic reacts slightly faster, but overall the I like the Compaq and use it as my primary monitor. I create movies besides other slide presentations and the Compaq monitor looks as vivid and quick as the ViewSonic monitor.

Even TV programs look great on the Compaq monitor and reacts quickly with excellent definition to fast moving scenes using the analog TV tuner. I haven't tried using the digital TV tuner as I don't have a digital signal yet. Overall great quality for the price, but I suspect the LCD monitors will drop in price as digital TV and Internet TV become more popular.

The picture is clear and crisp. It has nice adjustment features. The sound from the speakers is excellent!!! I would suggest this monitor to anyone and everyone!!!!

The screen is good. Everything works and was really easy to hook up. HOWEVER, the volume on the speakers was quite low on some websites, so I wound up disconnecting the monitor speakers and went back to using my old speakers.

I purchased this monitor to replace an old 17" CRT unit. It has performed flawlessly for the entire time i've been using it. Very vibrant colors, easy to distinguish shades of colors, all around nice item. I didn't hook up the speakers as i've got other external speakers, so I can't say how the internal speakers sound. It's a good unit for the money.

This is a great monitor and it is wide screen very clear, great color, and has been running for weeks 24 hours a day no problem and no burn in. Awesome price for a large wide screen monitor.
