More About the Author

Dr. Wendland has been teaching at the Lutheran Seminary in Lusaka, Zambia, since 1968. He is also a United Bible Societies Translation Consultant and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Ancient Studies at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. He is the author of numerous studies on the Bantu languages of South Central Africa, biblical exegesis, and translation theory.
