Thorough and Intense Reading - The History of Slavery in the Americas,
By
This review is from: The Comparative Histories of Slavery in Brazil, Cuba, and the United States (New Approaches to the Americas) (Paperback)
This book examines the history of slavery in Brazil, Cuba and the United States, and it offers a fair and unbiased comparison between the situation in all three countries. Includes an extensive bibliography which should be useful for librarians, researchers and students. I highly recommend the purchase of this book for high school, public and university library collections.

Good Read,
This review is from: The Comparative Histories of Slavery in Brazil, Cuba, and the United States (New Approaches to the Americas) (Hardcover)
This was a comparative history of the African Slave trade in Brazil and Cuba. It is well written and has the effects of the two regions in terms of commerce and culture.
