I have used this Bible for many years. People that see me with it at Church regularly ask where I got it. The 4 comparisons (KJV,NASV,NIV, and AMPLIFIED are excellent accurate versions of the Bible. (especially the last 3 versions) It is a joy to do studies with this Bible, do comparisons with each translation, and to use it at Church in the services. I STILL absolutely love it!

Wonderful concept that allows for a comparison of different texts leading to a clearer understanding of difficult scriptures. At times the translator may use an English word that does not truly capture the meaning of the original Hebrew or Greek. This text will allow the reader to see other translations at a glance and enable one to gain a better understanding or provoke further study into the original Hebrew or Greek.

I purchansed this as a gift for a son. He loves it. He is a writer and needed good reference without a lot of comentary. He said that it is easy to read the different translations at the same time.

This is an excellent tool. I do not consider the NIV a Bible, because it contains to much of what the translator thinks the words meant instead of just translating all the words, but the other three versions are very good and very handy to have in one place for study, and having the NIV helps a person to prepare themselves to deal with misunderstandings others may have due to reading the NIV, which is now a very popular pseudo-Bible.
