5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastically Clear and readable Discussion of Elite Theory, March 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Comparative Study of Political Elites (Contemporary comparative politics series) (Paperback)
The fundamental empirical question of Political Science is 'Who rules?' and the normative counterpart to this question is 'Who should rule?' The purpose of Putnum's book is to address these questions through the lens of elite Theory. He sets out 'To summarize and assess our evolving understanding of those who rule.'
