5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptionally Well Written splat!, November 16, 2010

This review is from: The Compass of Celestial Directions, Vol. 5: Malfeas- A Setting Book For Exalted, 2nd Edition (Paperback)
This book consists of:

Chapter One: A History of Hell
Chapter Two: Life in Hell
Chapter Three: To Rule in Hell
Chapter Four: The Demon City
Chapter Five: The Damned

I quite enjoyed this book, as it described all the types of bizarre things I expected to find in Malfeas, but could not think of myself. My favourite chapter is the 5th one, as it describes many new 3rd circle demons and stats out many 2nd and 1st Circle demons. Particularly, Sondok, which is referred to in the Exalted Core 2E book, along with some 1E material (Caste Book: Night).

Overall, I feel with this book, I could take my Solar PCs there, or run an Infernal game with adequate descriptors of life in Malfeas. The art is also decent. 5 Stars for me.
