Joyful Veganism!,

This review is from: Compassion in Action: the Joys and Benefits of Living Vegan (MP3 Download)
I found Colleen's "Food for Thought" podcast on iTunes shortly after transitioning from vegetarian to vegan. Her podcast is fantastic; giving encouragement, great information, resources, and helping to unlearn a lot of the misinformation about vegetarianism/veganism that's out there. (Lots of great recipes and meal ideas too!)
The Compassion In Action CD is just as inspiring and life affirming as the podcast but gives a more concentrated overview that's perfect for anyone interested in the health, environmental, and animal rights/ethical benefits of a vegetariann/vegan diet and lifestyle. Simply fantastic!

Although I am vegan (and have been since listening to Colleen's podcast, "Vegetarian Food For Thought"), I found this CD to be a reaffirmation of why I chose to go veg. I have also bought it as a gift for other friends who are curious about what it means to live vegan. It's also a great way for people who might be unfamiliar with podcasts to hear Colleen's inspiring, informed, and humorous approach to this topic.
