This review is from: WITH COMPASSIONATE UNDERSTANDING: A Meditation Retreat (Paperback)
I bought this book after participating in Steve and Rosemary's retreat at Wat Kow Tahm in Thailand. The book is a word for word transcript of each beginner's retreat that they conduct. I'm thankful for the accuracy, because each word is carefully chosen, and has had a powerful affect in my life. Their interpretation of Buddhism is quite beautiful and practical.
If you are interested in meditation, I'd suggest you go to the retreat...then buy the book.
