This product fits the fax machine, although the ribbon had to be tightened before loading into the machine. I didn't think that was a problem, given the great price. Based on the other reviews, I used the fax a few times to make sure the ribbon worked. There were no problems, so I would buy this item again.

I purchased 3 of these these so-called Brother-compatible ribbons. They are so flimsy and poorly made that all THREE ribbons unraveled inside the machine, ultimately destroying the machine, itself. Stay away from these pale imitations. Spend the extra bucks on "the real thing". Unless you're looking for a reason to replace your Brother 575 fax machine.

I purchased 3 of these these so-called Brother-compatible ribbons. They are so flimsy and poorly made that all THREE ribbons unraveled inside the machine, ultimately destroying the machine, itself. This replacement cartridge fits like a glove. I will continue to buy this from this company at amazon.com as long as my Brother Fax/Copier machine lasts. Affordable.

This saved me so much money, came in a reasonable amount of time and works just as well as my brother ribbon cartridge did. Easy to install also.

I must admit that I was slow to get a fax machine. The thought of having to replace the ribbon scared me silly. I purchased this replacement ribbon thinking that I was going to have to do the seemingly complicated (to me) steps to install it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all I had to do was drop the cartridge in and the fax was ready to go. I love it when things are simple.
