A fake drum that works like the real thing.
Laser printer drums are expensive, but they must be replaced if you do a lot of printing. You can try to stretch out the life of your old drum, but print quality and overall life of your printer could suffer. Question: If I'm so concerned about my precious printer, why did i buy a "compatible" drum unit? I don't know, I guess I like to live life on the...

Don't even think about it
Stay away from these "compatible" Brother drum units. This thing was a hunk-a-junk. Replaced when printer instructed and the thing started kicking out the poorest quality pages I have seen. Total waste of money.

I don't know, I guess I like to live life on the edge. So I took the risk and I couldn't be happier. The drum works great, I've already been through 2 toners with it and have had no problems. And the price savings was significant. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another compatible drum again after this experience. |
