this product is really a piece a crap, we took the original that came with the MB781, and replace with this, it was so bad we have to put the old one back ( smudge in the middle of the page every copy we made) , we just wasted our money, if someone knows how to place this or fix this so that our printer can print again, do let me know. thanks S. Russell

I'v bought last month, but it seems don't have enough toner, the words printed are faint out. doesn't recommend it though it's cheaper.

Nov 19, Replacement Cartridge

I received the replacement cartridge. Initially, like the first cartridge, the print quality was good. After a few days (I print about 10 pages per day) the print quality diminished. Like the first cartridge, the toner is not evenly distributed. If you don't mind taking our the cartridge and shaking it to get quality print, this cartridge will work for you. But, if you want quality print without taking out the cartridge and shaking it, look elsewhere.

I spoke up too soon. Right after I wrote my review of Nov 2, within days, the print quality went south. The print page is streaked, with too much toner in that area.

What I did to fix the problem - I took out the cartridge and shook it to distribute the toner. That fixed the print problem, temporarily, BUT I do not want to do it every few times I have something printed. Worst, it makes a mess. There is toner all over the place; my hands, clothes, the printer, desk, and on my VERY LIGHT carpet!

"100% Satisfaction Guaranteed," yes, that's what's printed on the box. I called the 888-321-2552 number. They are sending me another cartridge. We'll see if that one is any better. Stay tuned...

In the mean time, can I take back some of my stars?

I highly recommend your Compatible: LD-KXFAT92 for: Panasonic KX-MB 271. Based on the negative review (one at the time) I was hesitant about the produce. However, due to the price difference and my very limited budget, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The cartridge was easy to order, it came in a timely manner, the installation was easy, and the quality of print is great. I am ever so happy. Thank you :)

This ink cartridge leaked all inside my printer...almost ruined it...took hours to clean up the mess.
I should have realized by the price that the quality was not that good.
On the positive side, EXCELLENT customer service from AMAZON...who did refund my money.
thank Amazon...but please, if you can, don't lower your standards by carrying product like this.

THE BAD:
I am very unhappy with this LD replacement for the KX FAT92 toner. I purchased one of these LD replacements months ago and I didn't get around in asking for my refund because I wrote off the entire printer as a whole due to the lack of aftermarket support options.

THE VERY BAD:
This thing leaked toner dust everywhere! The dust was on the drum, plastics and all over the room. I should have called HAZMAT or the local FD to hose down the place. I can tell you that I'm a hardware certified tech and no dummy when it comes to a simple task such as toner replacement, you are getting a very accurate review here from my experience.

THE GOOD:
I have purchased an LD Branded HP replacement toner and that has worked as good as original if not better.

THE END:
I think the big problem is the KXFAT92 is not as good a design as the HP line up of toner replacements. Panasonic devices seem picky unless you use OEM. You really are rolling the dice when it comes to quality with an off brand. I will never buy another Panasonic device or product again.

I don't print alot, maybe 2 times a week, 3-4 pages each time. This was cheap so thought I give it a try. Works great at first. But after 2months, I'm starting to get alot of smearing. By month 3, like its out of toner.

I bought 3 toners for panasonic MB271 and 1 toner for brother MFC844. I have not tried brother toner yet BUT all three LD panasonic mb271 toners are awful and gave me loads of smudges on each and every page. Although satisfaction and return of money was guaranteed, LD refused to return my money. I wanted to return after 1st LD panasonic toner cartridge but LD encouraged me to try the other two cartridges at no cost and subject to refund. I NEVER GOT ANY REFUND and all 3 toners were defective!! STAY AWAY FROM LD!! :(

The toner leaks. It simply cannot be used. Do not buy it from this company. I called customer services and never got through.

Bought 2 ended up just throwing them away. Toner cartridge leaks toner, smudges pages, and very light printing. Save your money buy OEM Panasonic toner cartridge.

I was hesitant to try - based on negative reviews, but budget constraints meant either stop printing or give it a shot. I did get approximately 1850 pages out of the toner cartridge. Other versions list for more than twice the price, so I feel I definitely got my money's worth. Installed quickly and worked perfect out of the box.

Oh - and on the number of pages - it is an estimate - kids use this printer a lot and are saying we got 2500+ pages - so I am not positive on the count. I know it is over 1500 and somewhere through what I thought was the 4th ream of paper - kids say it is the 6th. You decide for yourself.
