I bought these as they are half the price of the Brother brand toner cartridges and was able to get 2 for the price of 1. This was my first time purchasing toner that wasn't original Brother brand for my printer. After reading the other reviews here, I felt comfortable that I would get good print quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The pages come out with a vertical stripe down the center of the pages as well as some pages coming out with splotches of toner on them. Looks like I'll be going back to the original Brother brand toner cartridges as these off-brand do not provide the same quality printing. I was really hoping these would be as good as the original but they certainly aren't. If you don't mind stripes down your page then these would be fine. Unfortunately, I can't accept the inferior print quality.

This cartridge fit perfect and performed well. The only test left is how long this high yield black laser toner will last. This cartridge sold at a good price so the value was great! I would buy from this seller again. Thank you. DPC.

The first cartridge I received was faulty but the supplier immediately sent a good quality replacement and issued a partial refund. The customer service was excellent and quick and the replacement works very well.

This product is great if you are fine with the idea that on delivery the toner is on 86% full. Toner prints great, no problems at all other than the fact that the toner right out of the box was not full but only at 86% of the capacity.

Again, great toner replacement and WAY cheaper but don't be surprised when right out of the box you discover it isn't filled to capacity.

Be aware that this is a TONER only and is not the complete cartridge with the drum as sold by Brothers; that is why the price is so much less than you would pay in Office Depot or such...you are NOT getting the drum with it. I have only had it a few days and the print seems fine.

I bought this toner thinking that I found a great deal, but instead it keeps catching paper incorrectly and getting the paper stuck in the drum. I am not loading the paper incorrectly. I have owned my Brother HL 2040 for 4 years now and have never had this problem with any other toner. This is just a terrible product and the people selling it should be ashamed of themselves.

this toner when I loaded into my printer every paper I print is stained from top to bottom on the left side, and it is critical that with the job I do that all my documents I print, print with no smudges, stains so I was just so upset that I didn't even bother to call amazon because for some reason everytime I order something it goes wrong

Have purchased this before from the same supplier, what else needs to be said, substantially less money than OEM and does what it is meant to do. I am happy and will purchase again.

We bought this product for our MFC-7420 printer because we were tired of spending so much money on the Brother cartridges. At the time of this review, they are over $40 a pop. We bought this compatible cartridge in November 2010--it is now July 2011, and the printer is just now indicating that the toner is low. So the compatible product has lasted 8 months! The regular Brother cartridge usually lasted about 9 months. The quality of the compatible print cartridge was pretty good--we did occasionally get extra black marks or streaks, but they were very light marks and didn't bother us enough to want to pay twice as much for a name brand cartridge. We use it for home office and educational purposes, so it worked fine for what we needed. We are getting ready to buy this product again!

I found this toner to be a little better than the last office max cartridge I purchased. And at a much better price.
