We learn by talking and listening to each other. We learn by doing and practicing. Sometimes we have short talks; sometime we have long conversations. Sometimes we speak Vietnamese; sometimes we speak English.
Together, we will talk about many things in English and discuss many topics in this class in English. We will ask questions in English. We will answer questions in English, too. We will use simple and more difficult words in English. We learn traditional sayings and modern expressions. We will learn--and use-- new English vocabulary words in our conversation class. Step by step, we will know more English words and how to ask more questions so we can build better conversations in English.
Learning to speak English requires us to speak English in every class. So, we will talk about our present lives and reflect on our past experiences in interview and small group discussions. We will also share our hopes and plans for the future. By telling our personal stories and sharing our ideas, we will also create compelling conversations together--in English.
Shall we begin?
