I have been looking for a book like this for years. I love to monogram vintage linens to give as gifts...esp. wedding presents. This book offers the most wonderful variety and clarity! Throw out all the others, THIS is the book to have.

I've contemplated for a while whether I should get this book or go with one of the cheaper monogram books out there. Finally I decided to go with this one, and all I can say is WOW!!! All the letters are good quality, black and white and big (about 2 inches high) however, some of them are even bigger and contains flourishes like flower, butterfly or a bird. I've received this book today and I'm blown away. The letters are organized simply by alphabetical order, there are no writing in this book except for one page at the beginning which is the Preface. I think the images will come out nicely when photocopied because there are no wishy-washy details; they are all done in line drawings and they are clear. I've seen monograms just like these or even these on old linens and I so wanted to duplicate them. I am thrilled, this is the book for that!

It is just what the title tells you - a book of 3400 letters for vintage style monograms. Clear black samples of letters and very useful

When I received this book I was like a kid in a candy store! ! ! I use the patterns for making monogram cards. There are so many pretty patterns.. my only problems is....which one do I do first ! ! This price is fantastic....I would gladly pay more for this book.

This book does have a ton of Monograms, but if you are a Graphic Designer and want to use these by scanning them in to print it is NOT ideal. The whole book is as if it is lo-res and it all bitmapped. It would take an awful lot of time to go in and clean them up if yo wanted to use it. If the printing was better quality, I would have given this 4 stars. Wait, no I wouldn't ... they even misspelled "Ancient" on the cover!
