I enjoyed the whole album and found several standout tracks. I'll definitely be purchasing some music from Devil's Ruin!

I would have given the album 5 stars but Pinebox Serenade seems misleading. I listened to several of their other songs after Witch on the Mountain struck me. They must use a different lead singer. I was just a little disappointed.

I would wave this cd under the nose of anyone who says great music can't be bought at reasonable prices. This is one brilliant compilation, almost as good as Rodentia. I strongly recommend it. The only low point is track 10, which for me was too bluesy, but that's just my opinion. Buy it, try it, thank me later.

If you like Rodentia indeed. Great unknowns (or lesser knowns) play fantastic music.

And it's all Doom for 2.99 $.
