This book covers all the basic material that someone who wants to learn how to be a useful crew member on a sailing ship should know. It is based around the Royal Yacht Association (RYA)'s Competent Crew course curriculum and covers rigging a sailing a boat, basic navigation, safety a float, and signaling. It also includes a quiz at the back to help you test your knowledge of the material covered.
