it was ok,

i didn't think this was the best of kid's pageant videos, it focused on the 8-10 age group which was OK but not nearly as interesting as it could have been if they had shown the younger ones more like in Living Dolls. Another point is that this video only covers a state pageant and i feel that the tension could have been greater at the nationals with even more 'big' names competing. Overall i think this video is worth a look if you are interested in it but not if you want to really see high level competition.

I was really looking forward to viewing this video as my daughter used to dance and I loved her shows and competitions. I even went out and bought a new video system to accommodate NTSC. Although I enjoyed what I saw, these confident talented girls, I felt it was far too short. I wanted to see more. Especially the younger ones which were hardly shown at all. I would like to know if there are any more videos of Child Beauty Pageants. I should have been an adjudicator!

Here's a pageant documentary that never once mentions JonBenét Ramsey, and that doesnt try to picture pageant moms as raving lunatics living through their children. I didnt think it actually existed !Follow four children aged 8 to 10, competing in the same division of Universal Royalty Texas State pageant : Sabra, Thumper and Sommer have been competing for years, own $3000 custom made costumes and train several hours a week. Brittany is a newcomer, has an off the rack dress that doesnt quite fit, and plays Pro Am in her living room. She also has a great voice and a real talent for singing. Who will win ? Contrary to a lot of pageant documentaries, it shows real competition, with children that are still competing today, and are now considered "big names" in the business. It also reveals that pageants, like any sport, require a lot of practice and hard work if you want to be at the top.

A and E takes you on an adventure in the world of Beauty Pageants, but just not any beauty pageant a children's beauty pageant. The pageant covered is Universal Miss and Master. Held in Texas. It follows the two sisters who have never competed in a pageant of high calibur as this one. They compete against the best of the best in the Beauty Pageant World. See if the novice competitiors can beat the pros at their own game!! I highly recommened this video because it showcasing how pageants are in a positive manner.
