Its a good solid bench for the money. However be advised you have to have a 72" bar with this, it will not accept smaller bars.

Barbell supports are 45 inches apart measured from outside edges. I bought the cap barbell 6 ft standard barbell to use with this set and it fits perfectly.

Pros:
Such a great price! Very versatile. This bench does "flat," decline, two levels of incline, and full 90-degree adjustments to the back support. I found it ridiculously hard to find a barbell bench that does all of these without spending $400+ for professional-grade equipment. And I was looking on craigslist too. Barbell supports seem to adjust to any level you would need for any setting. I found the padding to be adequate. Leg extension equipment works as expected.

Cons:
Equipment ships with absolute bare-bones padding and a few parts had minor scuffs. One part was missing but they have an 800 number you can call which delivered the parts within a week. Other reviewers are correct: The bench does not go 100% flat and instead goes, I would say 10 degrees or less inclined when in the "flat" position. This is very weird to me....surely they noticed this? But ultimately I can live with it. Also I find the bench a bit high off the ground compared to other benches I have used. I measure 21 inches from ground to the top of the "butt" pad. I am about 5'10" and I find it no problem as is, but maybe an inch higher and I'd be struggling to keep my feet stable during bench presses. Again, did they not notice this?

Overall, comeon bro you are only spending like $100 for this thing. This is certainly a fine bench for casual home workouts I have loaded about 200 lbs and it holds up no problem.

UPDATE: May 2014 I have used this bench on a regular basis for about 16 months now it has held up really well. My only complaint is that there is some moderate play in the bench when racking the weights. I am usually doing sets at 225 and notice this. I have looked over the whole bench and there are no signs of stress.

The product was delivered in 3 days with the free shipping so i ended up only paying about 132. The setup took only about an hour with no missing or broken pieces. With the different positions ( flat, incline.etc)I can work out all the muscles in my chest, as well as muscles in my legs with the leg attachment. Nothing bad to say about this product unless you do not like low prices and good service

For less than $100 it's good, but it's not as good as I thought it would be. Putting it together was simple, so I don't think I built it wrong. The thing with mine is that there is no flat position. It's actually raised a little, about 5 degrees. Maybe that's intentional, but I don't like it. I wanted it to be perfectly flat. Also, the arms aren't straight. In other words, they aren't perfectly perpendicular to the rest of the bench. I really have to scoot down on the bench when pressing or the right arm will be in the way. Overall, it was worth what I payed for, but I'm still slightly disappointed.

Very happy with this purchase. My only complaint is that I had to use Google for a detailed product description rather than Amazon. This took 15 seconds so I was particularly worried. This is a very solid machine for any level of non-professional weight training. It took me a little over an hour to put it together by myself and part of this was just finding the tools. Assembly is easy and the parts are well organized.
As for using the thing. The arms adjust well, making it easy (and stable) when doing standing lifts from behind the bench. The bench adjusts(in approximate degrees)from 80 to 45 to 0 to -45. You can hit any group you want with those options.
It feels very solid. No shaking or groaning. The pad is particularly thin. This makes some of the exercises(reverse crunches and decline bench)a little bit more difficult because you also have to focus on stabilization but who can complain about adding some core training to your bench routine?
Overall I'm VERY impressed with this machine. I will point out, though, that I immediately took off the leg unit. I can't vouch for that portion.

Great bench and would be 5 stars for the price, with one exception: the bar that connects the bench to the various incline positions has plastic ends. These plastic pieces broke off mid lift on me, causing the bench to go into a slight decline very quickly. I almost dropped 200 pounds on my neck in about half a second. Happened faster than my spotter could react. Very scary moment. If you do buy this, inspect these plastic caps regularly or weld a piece of metal to each position stop so it will catch the bar and not have to rely on the plastic caps.

This bench is well constructed for the most part and feels like it will last a long time. The weakest part of the design are the cushions which have a very thin plywood base, everything else feels very durable and is made of metal.

The biggest problem with this bench is that the support arm which is used to raise or lower the padded bench area is too long. The length of this arm prevents the bench from laying flat and puts it at a noticeable incline on the lowest setting, or else at a steep decline when it's not in place. It's impossible to get this bench to lay flat, which is a deal-breaker for me and is the reason for the one star rating.

Pros:
-----------------
+ Great price and free shipping with Amazon Prime.
+ Mostly solid construction, good quality for the price.
+ True Olympic size.
+ Easy assembly, all you need is a socket and the included hex keys.

Cons:
-----------------
- The bench will not lay flat, it's either incline or decline.
- The bench seat is a bit wobbly and unstable, especially if you are benching a lot of weight.
- The height adjustments for the two main weight posts/columns are difficult to move. Adjusting them requires unscrewing a large bolt and then screwing it back in to position. Other benches do this much quicker/easier.
- The base of the bench cushion is thin plywood, feels like it would be the first thing to break.

Conclusion:
-----------------
If you need a flat bench then avoid this product and go for something else. If you don't mind always benching incline or decline then it's a good buy and the overall quality is good.
