This review is from: Compiled Records of the Middlesex County, New Jersey, Militia, 1791-1795 : With Biographical Sketches of the Officers of Selected Companies. Including a Roster of the Middlesex County Militia, 1775-1783 (Paperback)
For the avid student of New Jersey history, this publication offers a very complete listing of the Middlesex County Militia for the years 1791-1795. I believe that this book will appeal to those individuals who trace their roots to early New Jersey counties. The descriptions and rosters herein contained serve to give a detailed overview of both the pre and post Revolutionary families who settled in and around the counties of Middlesex, Somerset and Monmouth. Additionally, I believe that this book would be invaulable as an early history reference tool and should be a part of each public library's early history section.

Happy Ancestor Hunting!
