Had watched the couple of movies (made in Bangla) for Feluda's adventures, but reading the complete collection was like revisiting an old friend. The translation from Bangla to English has not lost any of the pace or effect. Overall a very good read.

Though this book will not raise questions of philosophical consideration, it will entertain quite well. Most of the mysteries are formulaic, as all mysteries are, but that adds charm and keeps the reader coming back to the pleasantly familiar. Reading it has been a good experience.

Feluda or Prodosh Chandra Mitra is very popular Bengali detective character, a creation of legendary cinematographer and writer Satyajit Ray. Feluda is immortal to many readers and his fans. Reading Feluda's action-filled stories and watching his actions in cinemas are very mesmerizing to many including me!
