This book is the best one I have seen on boat building. The author has several years experience in this field, and it clearly shows. Clear, unambiguous explanations are a refreshing break from confused and opaque writing style of some of the authors in the boat building community. Whether you are a complete novice or an adept, there is something for every practitioner of the field. Especially for a beginner like me, I found the book simply amazing. Using the techniques described in the book, I was able to build a beautiful kayak that is dearer to me than some of the humans I know.
