I often have this Machzor with me on the holidays. I find it especially helpful when I want to know the meaning of the lines of the 'Piyyutim'. The translations are not always elegant but they are I believe true to the basic meaning. And even though I know Hebrew quite well, I often need the English translation for understanding.
I also commend what might seem to some, the very literal explanations given of various parts of the service in this Chumash.
They help me and strengthen my faith and intensity in Davvaning.

This is the best Rosh Hashana machzor available. I like it much better than the interlinear machzor because it is clear and when I do want to see the interpretation of the words, I just look to the other side of the page, without it interrupting my prayers. I have owned this machzor for about 10 years already and just bought it for a friend who also felt it was great!

Artscroll have produced a sensational machzor, that is a much needed addition to the english speaking jewish world. And even hebrew-speakers will like the machzor.

It is, like all of their publications, professionally designed with clear directions on what to say when. The additional piyuttim are either in a smaller type or placed in the back. The artscroll translation is inspiring and useful. The commentary and introduction are exceptionally brilliant and inspiring beyond words and if all you do is read those, you're sure to keep the machzor just for that.

This machzor has allowed me to keep up with the davening, while still maintaining an understanding of the awe of the day. Each year it improves my davening with more insights and ideas with its translation.

Artscroll has trumped its mmachzor with an interlinear translation. If you're used to that series, you'll enjoy this recent rendition. Its bulky but nevertheless very useful to daven. Everyone wants this inter-linear machzor, where I daven. I however still enjoy paging through the original machzor.

Artscroll has also released a Hebrew-only version of its machzorim in nusach sefard which will be of benefit to hebrew-speakers.

As a non-Jewish follower of Yeshua the Messiah, I'm slowly learning the prayers of Israel. This machzor was clear and very easy to use. With it, I was able to fill Rosh Hashanah with words of praise to our Creator. You can always expect works of great quality from Artscroll.
