Greetings! Thanks for browsing my books.
I began my freelance career as an illustrator and production artist, doing mostly logo design and self-publishing calendars, note cards, and gift tags. I was encouraged to try the children's book market. After a shaky start, I eventually published my first picture book in 1987 - PUSSYCAT ATE THE DUMPLINGS, CAT RHYMES FROM MOTHER GOOSE.
Since then I have been illustrator and/or author of novelty books, early readers, picture books, nonfiction books, magazine articles and educational books. I have several new books out and more in the works, so check here and/or www.robinkoontz.com for more information on them!
I have one very patient partner of 37 years, one dog named Jeep, and a variety of wild critters that inhabit our Funny Farm in western Oregon.
