THIS IS THE BEST BOOK THERE IS FOR FISHERMAN-BEGINNER OR VETERAN. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT FISHING SHOULD OWN THIS BOOK.

The legendary Vic Dunaway has contributed a great deal to the angling community over the years. This book is one I recommend to all anglers. The book is well researched and can answer many questions for the armchair or professional angler. The illustrations are the next best thing to having someone show you how to rig.

this is a great book to give you a solid grasp of the fundamentals. the book explains the different types of gear, pluses and minuses of them and where to use them. also talks about bait,line etc.

This is a good beginner's guide to many types of fishing. It covers many different topics. These include: types of gear, types of line, lures, knots, rigging methods, and accessories. Instructions on technique are clear and illustrated by simple drawings. I found the section on leader types and rigs to be very helpful. While this book certainly won't make you an expert on any one type of fishing it would certainly help you get a start in just about any of them. I think it would be a useful reference to even the most experienced of anglers.

For the price it would be very hard to beat.
