"Tutoring" my own children has never been so easy to me before I bought this book. I have bought boxes of workbooks from different publishers including American Education Publishing's for my boys since they started kindergarten. This is the most eye-pleasing and comprehensive volume of all the workbooks that I have bought in the past. It covers the basic curriculum of many North American primary schools from grade three to grade five; includes Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science and Creative Arts. Every subject is divided into three different levels. This multi-level design provides parent the flexibility to select exercise according to the child's strength and weakness. The excercises are also challenging and motivating in training problem solving skills. My boys have never been that self-motivated to work on exercises until I got this one in early September of 2000.

This books has a little bit of everything - science, maths, language arts etc and is divided into different grade users. It's just enough to capture a child's attention but not enough if you would like to use it for in depth work.

I bought the workbook for my 7 and 9 year old. It provides a variety of activities/knowledge. My kids love it. They learn something by having fun working on the problems. This is their favorite workbook.
