It is generally the best information I have found and very easy to read and understand. I found the section on pregnancy and assisting with delivery, especially CPR very helpful in having the most successful litters. It is so good that I am ordering another copy for a very experienced breeder that also wanted a copy.

Excellent source for the novice breeder. Tells you in clear terms when to seek professional help. Explanations of medical situations done in clear,easily understood terms. Offers a very real view of the joys as well as some of the dangers of breeding pure bred cats. Helpful information on behavior of the queen, stud and new born kittens. Short and simple enough to act as an excellent resource during actual birthing.

This is an excellent book, I refer to it often when I am expecting or planning litters of kittens. The book includes great photos, many of newer breeds. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This is a great book for people interested in properly breeding their cats.

I bought this book to familiarize with the various aspects of cat breeding, should I ever encounter a pregnant cat. I found it very informative. Some of the information contained is specifically for cat breeders, such as why breed, choosing mates, etc. But there is a wealth of information that is useful for all other circumstances. It contained information on cat heats, mating cycles, the birth process, care of kittens, and MANY other topics, all in good detail.

This book is very informative and helpful. It really gave me alot of ideas about how to breed my cats. Being a new breeder of Ragdolls, it really opened my eyes to what I was doing wrong. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that has never had experience with breeding. The only thing I found to be not included in the book, was the different breeds.

As a very new cat breeder I found this an excellent book packed with loads of great, practical info laid out in a very straight forward way. I am even thinking of grabbing a few extra copies for other breeders I know.

This is a concise, illustrated guide to cat breeding, written by an experienced DVM. I got this as a gift for someone interested, and she loved it. I may try cat breeding eventually, and I appreciate all worthy information, especially books, that I encounter.

Should be on the reference shelf of every serious cat breeder. It contains some specific information about pregnancy and delivery that I've not seen in other cat books. It's also discusses the breeding program process. A good overview.
