If I never touch a gourd - this book is lovely to read. I do however plan to try my hand at this craft and feel I have the best instructions available. The supply section lists where the gourds, toold, dyes, etc. can be obtained. I have a huge craft book collection - and this is a superior one!

As an avid gardener and reader, I found lots of information about what to do with my gourds (first how to dry them), it had fine pictures of what others have done, and projects that look easy to do while being worth while. The book gives a history of gourds. Where to get diverse seeds, and contacts for others interested in gourds (ie the gourd soiety). I've been tickled to share this book with friends, all have thought it wonderful.

The book is fantastic. It has lots of photos and lots of step by step instructions for creating a gourd art piece. The photos in the book are very well done and there are lots of colored photos. I have had The Complet Book of Gourd Craft since it first hit the market. It is always close at hand and used as a reference.It is the best money I have spent on a gourd book.

This book is full of great gourding information. Some of the most creative and beautifully decorated gourds are featured in here. If you are looking for a book on gourding - this is it!

If you want to get enthused about gourd crafting this is the book that will do it.. The book is full of beautiful photographs of the work of many artists. It covers gourd carving, painting, coiling, weaving, and more. In many cases it gives well written instructions for the project. Donna

This is a beautiful, well done book. It is full of fantastic ideas and well explained how-to's. The photographs are great. I am new to gourd crafting, but this book has shown me many of the possibilities for this versitile material, way more than I ever imagined! I loved it so much I had to get her other book on gourd crafting. I can't wait to see MORE!

This book is illustrated with great pictures, easy-to-follow instructions, and great ideas all in a slim volume whose size belies the enormous amount of information. A delight and a must have for anyone contemplating being a gourd artist or those who just love gourds

This is a great book for beginners such as myself. It gives good project ideas and instruction to complete projects. Also a good section on gourd history.

What a great book! I took a gourd coiling class and the instructor had this book. I couldn't wait to get my own copy! This book is so thorough. From cover to cover it's filled with information, pictures and ideas, you can't help but be inspired. I was, and now I'm "gourding" like crazy!
