I found this book so helpful during summer vacation. My 3rd and 4th graders did 2-3 pages twice a week just for review and went back to school confident of their math. My kids actually thanked me for getting them this book. They didn't need the weeks of review most kids did when school started back. Easy to use and fun !

I am a homeschooling mother of three, and have found these workbooks to be an excellent asset to teaching my children. There are many, many chances to practice each skill, and the lessons advance logically through a skill set moving from easy to difficult and providing many examples for the student to follow during practice. The only thing it doesn't have is periodic review of skills already attained, but that wont keep me from continuiing to purchase these products.

I'm using this book for homeschool, and while it's a good cheap worksheet book, I want to say that while at ten bucks, 313 pages of worksheets is a good deal as far as I'm concerned, this book does not offer instruction, so it is best used for review and practice.

Out of all the materials I have purchased for teaching math so far I have used this book the most. It serves as a guide presenting material in a logical sequence unlike other workbooks that jump all over the place. It offers instructions and examples before presenting drills. Even the drills are not just plain printed problems but there is usually a maze, puzzle, or code to figure out by doing the problems. This book also include several low key, but high interest math games to aid review and instruction. The only thing that would have made this purchase for home-schoolers better would be an assessment test by the publisher to find what level I should start at. I bought the grades 1-2 first which was too easy.

If you want your kids to be better at math, practice, practice, practice makes perfect. This math workbook really helps them practice and master a topic. Recommended, great to keep them busy.

I used it as workbook for a math enrichment program for grade 3 students. My students attended different local public schools. They liked the workbook very much. They liked the color and design of each page. Thus, they improved their math skills dramatically. Most of the grade 3 students from my class last year attending grade 5 math this fall. I homeschool my son who is autistic and adhd and this book is working out great for him to catch up to his grade level.
