It traces Buddy from his early roots in Rock-a-Billy, to his Elvis years where he tries to mimic the King, before he found his own unique persona. The one we all know and love. This set has live performances, demos, television appearances, radio spots, and a beautiful booklet enclosed that provides more than enough information and pictures to satisfy any Buddy Holly Aficionado. This was quite a multi-vinyl collection back in the day, and still stands the test of time through today, and will continue to do so for years to come. In my opinion, this box set is priceless.
