Jon Manasse may very well be the finest clarinetist on the planet. You can take it for granted that the technical demands of these pieces are dispatched with no apparent effort. What is truly astonishing is the degree of control he has at even the softest dynamic levels, and without ever sacrificing beauty of tone. No serious clarinetist - or lover of chamber music, for that matter - should miss this!
