Judi Barrett is the author of many beloved books for children, including Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Pickles to Pittsburgh, Never Take a Shark to the Dentist, and Things That Are Most in the World. She teaches art to kindergarten students at a school in her Brooklyn, New York, neighborhood.

I heard that this was a top selling children's book with a cute story, and also an animated movie was made about the book. I bought for a 6 yrs. old, and one for a 7-year old. The book was perfect for those ages.

I bought 2 books and they were for grand-children for Christmas.

I didn't read the book myself,.. but my son told me that he did read it to my grand-daughter and she really enjoyed it.

He commented that it was cute, even sort of zany and it had very good illustrations.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, this is the classic version. The pictures are amazing and attention to detail was not overlooked.

You must bypass the new version of the book (movie) and stick to this one. You will be amazed at the difference and depth compared to the new book/movie.
