This cd encompasses Jim's entire recording career,showing his roots and his growth into one of the greatest acoustic songwriters of our time.He will forever be missed...and forever immortalized in his songs and in our hearts.

If you LOVE Jim Croce, this is the album for you. It has really old stuff that understandably didn't make the airwaves, but it's a great walk through the development of this musician.

If you're not a die-hard fan, just buy his 'Best of'.

As a baby-boomer fan, I was only 14 when Jim Croce died, and I was devastated. To hear all the songs again, all these years later, is wonderful. This has all the songs I'd heard as a teen, plus some that I'd never heard before. For anyone who hasn't heard him before, you are in for a real treat. He had such an expressive voice, and was a great song writer.
