I love love love love these recordings. By the time I bought this CD I'd already heard some of these tunes on LP or cassette several hundred times -- I can sing along with almost all the solos -- but let me tell you, I'm not anywhere near sick of it.

Charlie Parker was the most perfect craftsman in the history of jazz. Every solo is like poetry. This collection represents one of humankind's greatest triumphs.
