Most imformative Greek myth book
I have used this book in the mythology classes I teach and have found it to be a reliable and noteworthy resource. My students are able to use it for their Greek God Reasearch Project and find information not always included in other encyclopedias and dictionaries of Greek gods. As for typos and spelling errors, I have not noticed a problem with either,...

Find a better book!
I received the 2003 edition (exact same cover) as a gift and although I absolutely love Greek mythology, I gave this book away because it was so poorly edited. The number of typos and misuse of punctuation completely ruined this book for me. I will be looking for one that's written / edited better!

I have used this book in the mythology classes I teach and have found it to be a reliable and noteworthy resource. My students are able to use it for their Greek God Reasearch Project and find information not always included in other encyclopedias and dictionaries of Greek gods.
As for typos and spelling errors, I have not noticed a problem with either, though some of the spellings are British English instead of American English.
