This book provided and an invaluable supply of forms and checklists, assisting me to develop all the documents necessary to successfully develop an in-house leasing program. However, I was disappointed in the actual usability of the accompanying diskette. Some of the formatting caused certain text (such as subject headers) to be invisible.

I would recommend this book to others who need a practical reference, but who also have other reference materials for contrast and comparison.

I ordered this book because I was new to the business. While I've had extensive training and experience, the legalities of equipment leasing are more complex than I originally thought. This book was a great source for those beginning their journey into the equipment leasing industry. Each section of the book will briefly explain the reasoning and sections of each form for a better understanding.

The forms were suppose to come on CD, but did not. The preface of the book tells you the website to download all forms, checklist, guides and more. The forms are in RTF (Rich Text Format) and while they can be manipulated to DOC format, its a time consuming process. Each form must be formatted to your specifications and paper size. Easy enough, just very time consuming.

Our company uses these template forms for our daily business. The forms have been modified/ edited to meet our legal requirements and have made us appear a larger leasing company than we really are!!

Again, I encourage this book for all beginners in the equipment leasing industry.
