This book takes the learner through step by step skills in order to understand fractions. There is a pre and post test that is effective in assessing basic knowledge. The worksheets included are straight forward and have just enough examples to assess student knowledge. The layout is user friendly, simple and effective. I found the skills to be age appropriate for my fifth grade students.
