Effectively organized into sections devoted to the "History, Ideologies and Values of English"; "Language, Use and Varieties"; "Readers, Writers and Texts"; "Drama and Shakespeare"; and "English Pot-16", the diverse chapters are informed and informative. Of special note is the "The Book and How to Use It: Introduction" on page one.
