I loved this book, and it is actually one of the first "how to" books I've read in a long time where I sat and read it cover to cover in just a few days.

"A Complete Guide" covers the origins of faeries, who they are, evidence, literature and legend, and the different types of faery. Ms. Eason gives many exercises and rituals throughout the book that help the reader to more deeply connect to the world of the faery. And I personally appreciate that she focuses more on the fact that the faery experience will affect the reader more through their psyche and that it's okay if one doesn't actually "physically" see the faery folk. Their effects are still felt and still working through the consciousness.

This is an excellent book for both the beginning and more advanced student, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in finding out more about the realm of the faery.

I think that this would be an excellent book for someone who already follows the faerie faith, and an ok book for someone who is just generally interested in the topic. I thought that this would be more of a general overview of faery folklore and such. I wasn't really expecting the other spiritual parts. Just be aware that this book is geared towards a certain belief system, and is not just a generic book of "lore".

I am a begginner in all Fairy information. I believe this was a great book, with lots of information to get started and continue reading.
the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because some parts are the book are difficult to understand, I believe you have to be much more advanced in fairy information, names, etc. to be able to fully understand what she is explaining, other than that, the book is really good.

You could title this book
"Everything you always wanted to know about Faeries but were afraid to ask." It is very detailed and stirs the imagination.

I am fascinated by faeires. I love to read about them and found this book well written, easy to understand and I am glad that I have it in my collection. It's the type of book you can browse through and find out cool information and not be overwhelmed by too much being thrown at you all at once.

My mom has a taste for the mystical, but no patience for the books that try to get too techinical. She understood and enjoyed this book (has read it multiple times now) immensely. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys getting in touch with their spiritual side, but doesn't want to be bogged down with an overly scientific or preachy text.

Im wondering if id found this book at a bookstore on the shelve if id bought it..theres no pictures in it....good information though....I need pictures I guess when Im reading about faeries...B.W.

I also throughly enjoyed this book. She cites much lore and a host of other interesting information. I also appreciate all the extra suggested reading and ideas to follow up on.

I have told several others that have an interest in this subject about the book.

I received this book quickly. It is in very good condition. I would order from the seller again.

I was hoping for more illustrations but on the whole it is very informative and interesting. A fun read!!
