I was intrigued by the title and, on impulse, bought the book. Now I'm looking for more by the same author. She's wonderful! She has a very pragmatic view of magic, and her enjoyment of the subject is infectious. Another aspect I liked was that the author is not trying to dictate or codify magic (although she is fond of rituals). She writes well, and the book is an easy read.

I should have given it 4-1/2 stars out of five, because I think the book is a little disorganized (at least I'm having trouble). I would also have preferred a more extensive index.

This is the first book I read on Magick.I cant say this is a very good book for beginners.Still I found it very Intresting.I liked her style.I would definetly love to read some more cassandra eason books.

Casandra Eason says magic is neutral Its us who make it Good or Evil.This is pure white magic book I think.

I loved the section on Natural Magic which I found very intresting.I never knew that these herbs we use as Masala's(spice)in our country have magical powers.I am gonna grow them & also use as much as Possible.
