The authors do a very nice job of touching on all of the key issues a seller needs to know. They do not go into great detail on every aspect of selling a business, but I don't think that was their intent. This book is a great primer on the subject.

Finally a book that can take a business owner step by step through the selling process. As a financial advisor I have many clients who own businesses and at some point would like to sell them and retire. The problem is knowing HOW!
This book will walk them step by step and show them exactly how.

The book goes through every aspect of selling a business, and even includes forms, template agreements and checklists to make sure that you stay on track. You'll know the right things to do to prepare your business to sell, as it walks you through how to structure the sale of your business the right way so that you don't have to worry about liability issues.

This book is a great business resource that I will come back to again and again.
