This little handbook comes filled with almost all the information that someone needs to start writing hit songs in no time written by an actual hit record producer this book contains real advice and true experiences presented in an understandable way. This might be the book you've been waiting for a long time, with a light structure and easy step by step explanations this book is golden for songwriters. This is the second edition continuing in the tradition of the first, so if you want the complete picture consider searching the first title.

This book is a bit dated (©1985), but the info inside is still applicable for today's songwriters. It's in large print and has a lot of great advice on how to shop and submit your songs. It's a great book to have in your songwriting arsenal. Not to mention, Mark Liggett, 1 of the authors, is a successful songwriter/producer. Well worth the price!

This is a very good book for serious songwriters. It covers the business aspects of the music business very well too and it is written by an actual hit record producer.
