Excellent practice,

This review is from: The Complete Book of Handwriting (Paperback)
This workbook has a manuscript section and a cursive section. Within each section, there are four pages devoted to each letter of the alphabet. The first page has five lines to practice the uppercase letter and five lines to practice the lowercase letter. Both cases have a stroke-sequenced letter demonstrating how to write the letter (for right-handers... I'm not sure if it is different for lefties). The remaining three pages have ten lines to practice writing words starting with the designated letter. After going through the alphabet, the workbook goes through numbers, days of the week, months, etc. The cursive section is set up the same way.
We are using the book along with Englemann's "Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons", and we use this for the handwriting task. The workbook is basic, yet comprehensive and it has met our needs perfectly.

The only thing I don't like about this book, is that it gives you a word, then you have two rows to write the word. Or you'll have an entire page with about 7 lines to write one sentence. Are you supposed to only write the word one time? I make my kid write it like 3 or 4 times which ends up being a lot of busy work. If they only write it one time, I feel like the book is kind of a waste. If you're trying to teach younger children their letters, I'd probably pass on this book, but its probably fine for an older child.

This is the best tracing workbook I have found. It has 2 parts: typed writing and cursive writing. Each part has multiple topics which are identical. Each letter has words that start with it. Then words make a sentence and kids will make their own one. Also kids can trace words that denote numbers, color, shapes, months, days of the , money, actions, etc. Also there is pre-writing practice.

I was very displeased with both of the above books I ordered because they were written in more than the description. This is the first time I have had a problem with any of your books.
