This is a great reference book for anyone who is learning about herbs, their uses, and their true names. It reads well, covers the topics thoroughly without being boring... which is saying something! :) However...This book has an obvious European bias which makes it difficult for someone like me in the USA to get all the info that I need. I will have to find another N.American reference book to complete my training. However, that is the ONLY problem with this book. It is, without question, the most thorough book I have on the subject, and certainly the easiest read. |
