As a tenured Human Resources professional, I found this book very insightful! I read it for my own benefit and to utilize with clients. This book offers a wide array of useful tools to assist the reader in identifying, creating and preparing for the next job opporutnity. This book encourages the reader to actully think about his/her true desires in a career and the steps to making it happen. This book is a great tool for those just entering the workforce and individuals interested in making a change! Enjoy!

There's probably no one who wouldn't find this book helpful, no matter their career or job status. Not everyone will go cover-to-cover, but there are sections of benefit to us all. The book takes first things first, focusing on self-knowledge as a foundation for finding and creating the "perfect career". It offers a rich array of tools to help in the quest, and points to a wealth of resources to help carry the search further. Carew has performed the service of organizing and amplifying the full range of questions whose answers provide the backdrop to any successful career and manages to not be the least superficial despite the wide angle through which "career" is examined.

This book can be extremely useful to anyone from high school age to senior citizen. Especially helpful to me were the boxed Insider Tips and the Least You Need to Know bullets at the end of each chapter. As a retired teacher I intend to use all the information I've gathered to launch my next career.
